A Sociolinguistic Study of Female Language with Reference to English and Kurdish

The main aims of this study are to point out whether some aspects language such as ‘‘hedges and fillers, tag-questions, hypercorrect grammar, interruption, soft swear words emphatic stress, super polite form, intensifiers, empty adjectives rising intonation’’, which indicated by Lakoff, used females English Kurdish societies for different purposes or not, if the level literacy has any effect them in using not. To collect data, an open-ended questionnaire is collecting data from 70 senior female students at Salahaddin University/ College Languages/ Department University Leicester/ School English.
